If Google Tag Manager is already installed on your website, you can deploy ImagenTra directly from GTM without editing your website theme, CMS or source code.
Create a new tag in the GTM container already installed on your website.
Use Google's Custom HTML tag type for the ImagenTra widget.
Configure the tag to fire wherever ImagenTra should be available.
Test the widget with Tag Assistant, then publish your GTM container.
This method assumes that a Google Tag Manager web container is already installed and working on your website.
If GTM is not installed yet, use the ImagenTra installation method for your website platform, or install Google Tag Manager first.
Sign in to Google Tag Manager and open the web container used by your website.
Give the new tag a clear name:
Once the GTM container is present on your site, additional scripts can be managed through the Tag Manager interface.
This makes GTM a useful universal installation option for ImagenTra.
Click Tag Configuration and select:
Google provides the Custom HTML tag specifically for third-party HTML and JavaScript that doesn't have a dedicated GTM tag type.
Paste your complete ImagenTra widget into the HTML field:
<script src="https://widget.imagentra.com/widget/widget_v27.js?key=MERCHANT_PUBLIC_KEY&stkey=STORE_PUBLIC_KEY"></script>
Your real ImagenTra widget already contains the correct merchant and store public keys.
Google requires JavaScript entered in a Custom HTML tag to be wrapped in <script>...</script>.
ImagenTra's generated widget already has the correct structure, so paste it exactly as provided.
At the bottom of the tag configuration, click Triggering.
Select:
GTM triggers decide when a tag fires, and every tag needs at least one trigger. An All Pages page-view trigger fires the tag as pages are loaded.
Save the tag when finished.
For the normal ImagenTra installation, All Pages is the simplest and safest default.
More advanced GTM users can later restrict the widget with custom triggers if ImagenTra should only appear on specific parts of the site.
Before publishing, use Google Tag Manager's built-in Preview mode.
Click:
Enter your website URL and click Connect.
Google opens the website together with Tag Assistant so you can check whether the ImagenTra Widget tag fired successfully.
GTM Preview allows you to test the current workspace configuration before publishing it.
This is the best time to confirm that ImagenTra loads properly on the domain associated with your package.
Once the Preview test is successful, return to the GTM Workspace and click:
Select:
Give the version a useful name such as:
Click Publish.
Google records a version whenever the container is published, allowing you to return to an earlier configuration if necessary.
A saved GTM tag remains only in the current workspace until the container is published.
ImagenTra won't become active for normal visitors until you publish the new container version.
ImagenTra domain verification isn't required to use your purchased package. It is only required when you want access to the domain's protected statistics and analytics.
GTM also gives you a convenient way to run the temporary ImagenTra verification widget.
Get the temporary ImagenTra verification widget generated for your domain.
Open the ImagenTra Widget Custom HTML tag.
Replace the standard widget with the temporary verification widget.
Make sure the verification widget is actually loading on the domain. For a normal verification flow, publish the temporary change.
Load the verification widget from the same device where you requested the verification.
Restore your normal ImagenTra script in GTM and publish the container again.
The temporary widget method works without FTP, hosting-panel or .well-known directory access.
This can be especially useful on hosted website builders where direct server access isn't available.
If your GTM container is connected to a Consent Management Platform or uses consent-aware triggers, make sure the ImagenTra tag is configured according to the actual function of the widget and your site's privacy policy.
Don't automatically copy the trigger settings used for advertising or analytics tags unless they are appropriate for ImagenTra.
Once the published GTM container loads the ImagenTra Custom HTML tag on the domain associated with your package, you can use your available generations without modifying the website source directly.
